Helping Hooves, Helping Hearts
When you donate to Helping Hooves, you are investing in two lives at once: the horse who has been given a second chance and the person who will one day stand beside that horse and discover their own strength.
Many of our horses come to us needing rehabilitation, retraining, and consistent care before they are ready to partner in therapy and learning programs. Your support helps provide quality feed, veterinary care, farrier services, safe shelter, training, and the daily hands-on attention that allows these horses to become steady, trustworthy partners. A well-cared-for horse is not just healthier. They are emotionally regulated, responsive, and prepared to support meaningful growth in others.
Your donation also makes services accessible to individuals and families who might not otherwise be able to participate. Through scholarship and sliding-scale support, we ensure that financial limitations do not prevent someone from accessing Equine Assisted Learning or therapeutic services. In a rural community like Beaverhead County, where resources can be limited, this access matters deeply.
Every dollar helps maintain safe facilities, fund program materials, support professional training, and sustain the horses who make this work possible. Whether your gift is large or small, it becomes part of a larger story of resilience, connection, and opportunity.
When you give to Helping Hooves, you are not simply making a donation. You are helping rescue purpose, restore confidence, and create space for healing and life-changing growth.
