Much of the work done at Helping Hooves is by volunteers. We depend on our volunteers for everything from mucking stalls, to cleaning water, to aiding rescues, and side walking during therapy sessions.
We have an intensive volunteer training program that we require everyone to go through.
Please note that volunteering at Helping Hooves is not petting and playing with horses all day. It is helping to provide our horses with safe, clean, and happy environments to live in. As you progress through our volunteer training program you may have more opportunities to work directly with the horses.
