Here at Helping Hooves one of our goals is to be as sustainable as possible. One of the ways we do that is by offering monthly membership to the public. This helps us so that we know how much we have coming in and don’t need to desperately beg for donations every time we have a severely injured horse.

Members are invited to our monthly open house, the first Saturday of every month from 9-11. To see the horses and hear updates. The facility is closed to the general public.

Help us make a difference

Much of the work done at Helping Hooves is by volunteers. We depend on our volunteers for everything from mucking stalls, to cleaning water, to aiding rescues, and side walking during therapy sessions.

We have an intensive volunteer training program that we require everyone to go through. Please note that volunteering at Helping Hooves is not petting and playing with horses all day. It is helping to provide our horses with safe, clean, and happy environments to live in.

As you progress through our volunteer training program you may have more opportunities to work directly with the horses. If you are interested in volunteering with Helping Hooves please fill out the form below and we will schedule a meet and greet with you.
